I read 17 works of fiction during 2011. This number is down from the previous two years. Family, running, and the new job has cut into my reading time. I am doing my best to make more time for reading every day, mostly by spending less time squandering my time away on the Internet... but that also means less time for blogging. Hence, I find myself summarizing 2011 in the middle of February.

Well, here it is, the list of Fiction that I read during 2011:
Legacy by Greg Bear
In the Company of Others by Julie E. Czerneda
Survival: Species Imperative #1 by Julie E. Czerneda
Migration: Species Imperative #2 by Julie E. Czerneda
Regeneration: Species Imperative #3 by Julie E. Czerneda
Armageddon's Children by Terry Brooks
Eternity's End by Jeffrey A. Carver
Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom by Cory Doctorow
Hunted by James Alan Gardner
The Syndic by C.M. Kornbluth
The Star Diaries by Stanislaw Lem
Dragonflight - Volume 1 of the Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey
Jem by Frederik Pohl
A Matter of Taste by Fred Saberhagen
The Second Book of Swords by Fred Saberhagen
Armor by John Steakley
The Noise Within by Ian Whates

I keep a log with reviews of the books I have read at Goodreads.com. Here is a link to my "read" shelf sorted by my own rating: http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/...ort=rating

The Species Imperative series by Julie Czerneda was by far the best of the bunch. I also think that Legacy by Greg Bear is every bit as good (although different) than Bear's other books in the Eon series. James Alan Gardner's books are a hoot, and Hunted is no exception. Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom by Cory Doctorow is a must read if you've been to Disney World.

Happy Reading!
