I recently posted Heatsink Bracket and Clips for new CPU cooler so I thought I ought to post more details about that system.
Here are the specs:
Operating System: Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala (64-bit)
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Toledo 2.2GHz CPU
Motherboard: ASUS A8N-SLI Premium 939 Nvidia nForce4 SLI motherboard
Heatsink / Cooler: Zalman CNPS7700-ALCU 120mm cooling fan, replaced with a stock AMD cooler that came bundled with a Phenom II CPU
RAM: 4GB OCZ Platinum 184-Pin DDR 400 SDRAM (PC3200)
Hard Drive: Western Digital WD3200AAJS 320 GB
Video Card: ATI RV770 [Radeon HD 4850]
Optical Drive: Pioneer Black 20X DVD+R DVR-115DBK
Power Supply: Antec earthwatts EA500 500W Continuous Power 80 PLUS
Case: Rosewill RZS06 ATX Mid Tower
Input: Saitek Eclipse keyboard and generic Laser mouse
One interesting thing about this case is the Power Supply mounts sideways and in the front. This allows the power supply to pull cool air in and vent its heat directly out of the case.
Here is a picture of my desk area where this computer lives:
